ENGINE COMPANIES

 

All Laurenville Engine Cos. are certified as BLS vehicles.

ENGINE 1

ENGINE 1 is a 2007 Pierce Lance, it has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, a 750 gallon tank and two 25 gallon foam tanks. It is equip with a CAFS system, and has LED lighting.


ENGINE 2

ENGINE 2 is a 2004 Pierce Dash, it has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, a 1000 gallon tank, and a 30 gallon foam tank.


ENGINE 3

ENGINE 3 is a 1999 Pierce Lance with a 20 inch raised roof.  It has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, 1250 gallon tank, a 100 gallon foam tank, and it is equip with a 300 gpm foam bumper turret.  Engine 3 also has pump and roll capability.  Engine 3 was formerly Engine 6.


ENGINE 4

ENGINE 4 is a 2004 Pierce Dash, it has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, a 1000 gallon tank, and a 30 gallon foam tank.  Engine 4 is the twin of Engine 2. 


ENGINE 5

ENGINE 5 is a 2000 Sutphen Legend, and is the twin to Engine 11.  It has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, a 1000 gallon tank, and a 30 gallon foam tank.  Unlike Engine 11, Engine 5 was ordered with four wheel drive due to its response area being in the mountains.  Engine 5 also is equip with a set of Jaws of Life.


ENGINE 6

ENGINE 6 is a 2009 Smeal/Spartan.  It has a 1750 gpm Hale pump, a 2200 gallon tank, a 150 gallon foam tank.  It also is equip with a 500 gpm foam roof turret, and has pump and roll capability, and LED lighting.  Engine 6 was bought in conjunction with the Hewson Regional Airport expansion.


ENGINE 7

ENGINE 7 is a 2008 Pierce Arrow XT, it has a 1750 gpm Hale pump, a 750 gallon tank, and two 25 gallon foam tanks.  It is equip with a CAFS system, and has LED lighting.  Engine 7 is equip with a set of Air Bags.


ENGINE 8    (ARFF VEHICLE)

ENGINE 8 is a 1995 Oshkosh T-3000.  It has a 1500 gpm pump, and a 3000 gallon tank.  It also has a 200 gallon foam tank, and 500 lbs of Dry Chemical retardant.  Its roof turret is capable of flowing 600 gpm, and its bumper turret 400 gpm.

LADDER 1

LADDER 1 is a 1997 Pierce Dash 100 foot Rear-Mount Aerial, with a pre-piped waterway.


LADDER 2

LADDER 2 is a 2007 Pierce Dash 100 foot Mid-Mount Aerial, with a pre-piped waterway.  Ladder2 is equip with a set of Air Bags, and has LED lighting.


LADDER 3

TOWER LADDER 3 is a 2000 Sutphen SP100  100 foot Mid-Mount Tower, with a pre-piped waterway with duel monitors.  Ladder 3 is equip with a set of Jaws of Life.

SPECIAL HAZARDS 1

SPECIAL HAZARDS 1 is a 2001 Pierce Lance with a 20 inch raised roof.  It is set up as a heavy rescue carring a set of Jaws of Life, Air Bags, confined space equipment, high-angle rescue equipment, air cascade system, and other specialized rescue equipment.


RESCUE 1

RESCUE 1 is a 2002 Ford E-450 Horton transporting ALS rescue.


RESCUE 2

RESCUE 2 is a 2006 Ford E-450 Horton transporting ALS rescue.  This unit also has LED lighting.


RESCUE 3

RESCUE 3 is a 2009 Chevrolet C4500 Horton transporting ALS rescue.  It is equip with LED lighting and a federal Q siren.


RESCUE 4

RESCUE 4 is a 2004 F-450 Horton transporting ALS rescue.  It is equip with four wheel drive due to its immediate response area being Mt. Evans.


SPECIALTY VEHICLES


 

TANKER 1

TANKER 1 is a 1982 Farrar on a 2008 GMC C5500 cab and chassis.  It has a 1000 gpm Waterous pump and a 1750 gal. tank.  It responds primary to calls in areas where there are no hydrants and to brush fires.  It also can be utilized as a reserve engine when necessary.  Tanker 1 is the former Reserve Engine 11.


FORESTRY 1

FORESTRY 1 is a 1994 GMC Sierra 2500 with a flat bed body.  It has a 250 gpm pump and a 300 gallon tank.


FORESTRY 2

FORESTRY 2 is a 1988 Chevrolet crew-cab cab and chassis with a utility body.  It was refurbished in 2000 and has a 300 gpm pump, and a 300 gallon tank.


FORESTRY 3

FORESTRY 3 is a 1992 Chevrolet Siverado 2500 with a 250 gpm pump, and a 200 gallon tank.


BATTALION 1

BATTALION 1 is a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban.  It is set up as a command post with multiple radio frequencies and laptop computers.


BATTALION 2

BATTALION 2 is a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe.  It was formerly Battalion 1.


CAR 1

CAR 1 is a 2002 Chevrolet Impala.  This is the Fire Chief's vehicle.


CAR 2

CAR 2 is a 1996 Chevrolet Impala.  This is the Deputy Chief's vehicle.


CAR 3

CAR 3 is a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer.  This is the Fire Marshal's vehicle.


CAR 4

CAR 4 is a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe.  It is the former Battalion 2.  This is the EMS Director's vehicle.


CAR 5

CAR 5 is a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.  This is the Maintenance Division's vehicle.


BOATS  1,2,3

BOAT 1 is housed at Station 7.  BOAT 2 is housed at Station 2.  BOAT 3 is housed at Station 3.


RESERVE APPARATUS


 

ENGINE 9   (ARFF VEHICLE)

Reserve Engine 9 is a 1978 Oshkosh P-7.  It has a 1000 gpm pump, a 1500 gallon tank, and a 150 gallon foam tank.  Its roof turret flows 400 gpm, and bumper turret 250 gpm.  This truck saw front line service before the airport became a regional airport.  It was originally owned and operated by the airport.


ENGINE 10

Reserve Engine 10 is a 1984 Mack CF that was refurbished in 1999, enclosing the cab, replacing the tank with a new poly tank, and also needed body work.  It has a 1000 gpm Hale pump, and a 750 gallon tank. Engine 10 is the former Engine 2 and Engine 7.


ENGINE 11

Reserve Engine 11 is a 2000 Sutphen Legend, it has a 1500 gpm Hale pump, a 1000 gallon tank, and a 30 gallon foam tank.  Engine 11 was formerly assigned to Engine 1 and Engine 3.


LADDER 4

Reserve Ladder 4 is a 1985 Maxim/International 75 foot aerialscope.  It is the last of many Maxims to serve the town. OOS   


RESCUE 5

Reserve Rescue 5 is a 1996 Ford E-350 Road Rescue transporting ALS rescue.


RESCUE 6

Reserve Rescue 6 is a 2002 Ford E-450 transporting ALS rescue.  It is the twin Rescue 1 formerly assigned to Rescue 3.
