Welcome to the offical site of the Laurenville Fire Department.

Welcome to the Laurenville Fire Department.  The fire department is operated by the Laurenville Fire District.  Laurenville Fire District is the sole provider of fire, rescue, and EMS services for the 77 square mile Town of Laurenville, and its 32,000 residents.  It is completely independent of town government.  The fire district is overseen by a seven member operating committee who are elected by the residents of the district.

The Laurenville Fire Department is a combination department consisting of 47 full time firefighters, 2 full time civilians, 7 part time civilians, and 131 paid-on-call firefighters (volunteers).  The department operates out of seven stations, utilizing seven engines, three aerial ladders, four transporting advanced life support rescues, one special hazards heavy rescue, one ARFF vehicle, three forestry/brush units, one tanker, three small craft boats, and two battalion command vehicles.
